Think traveling as your #nofilter day. Your travel makeup look should be the bare minimum. Who needs to impress anybody now? These products are my daily collection and the best part is that they’re amazing and affordable! These opinions are my own and that there are no sponsors. Enjoy!
.) Aveeno’s Positively Radiant Daily Moisturizer: If this cream moisturizer could be described in 3 words, it would be hydrating, lightweight and shimmery. I like that it has SPF 15 sunscreen, so I’m also protecting my face from UV rays. You know the beauty experts say to, “Wear sunscreen every single day”. This is a great way to keep your skin glowing and fresh.
.) COVERGIRL cgsmoothers BB Cream: The reason I typically use BB Cream than foundation is because it gives a light natural coverage, which is perfect for travel. It falls into the category of tinted moisturizer, while foundation is for the days where you want full coverage. This product is one of my best. It blends into my face like magic. It comes in “Light to Medium” and “Medium to Dark”. I got “light to medium” and it’s pretty fair, but it adjusts to my skin perfectly.
.) Maybelline “Super Stay” Better Skin Concealer: I’m not a big fan of making abstract art on my face, but in moderation, concealer works wonders. I recently got this concealer and it really does it’s job. There’s wide spectrum of swatches for all skin colors (#BlessyouMaybelline). Don’t stress about the color being the exact match, because Medium/Deep is a bit more darker and orange tinted than my skin tone, but it still blends in fine. It’s perfect for concealing your eye bags (from not getting any sleep on that flight).
.) Maybelline’s Baby Lips (05 Quenched) Lip Balm: I always wear lip balm for protection, whether I’m wearing lipstick or not. This lip balm is clear and contains SPF 20 (your lips need sun protection too). This is the only lip balm I’ve had that moisturizes chapped lips immediately, and leaves them silky smooth for the day. If your looking for an effective lip balm, this one is definitely a candidate.
.) NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream (Milan): Honestly, I wasn’t interested in a matte lip cream at all. I have full lips, which is a pain when it comes to any lip product. NYX provides several shades to choose from. It took time, but I eventually found myself liking it. I use a light amount because the color is *popping*. Speaking of color, it looks millennial pink from the tube, but it’s a shade of French Rose pink. Check out a swatch image or a review. This one is good for those those times you want to put that extra effort.
